POC Cat 4 Women's Race Series

Current point standings for the 2012 POC Cat 4 Women's Race Series will be posted here.

Eight events on the 2012 Washington calendar are included in this year's series (subject to change):

• March 17: Sequim Road Race #2
• March 24: Independence Valley Road Race
• April 7: Volunteer Park Criterium
• April 14: Skagit Time Trial
• May 12: Ravensdale Road Race
• June 2: Second Ascent Criterium
• July 14: Derby Days Criterium
• August 4: Boston Harbor Circuit Race

Points are awarded to the top 15 finishers in the cat 4 women's race at each event, plus series participants can accumulate points by finishing each WSBA race through the year. Consistent participation is at least as important as top finishes. Generous prizes from series sponsors are anticipated for the top 15 women in the overall standings at the end of the race season. To compete in this series, riders must complete a minimum of two of the races listed above. Most cat 4 races have a field size limit of 75 riders; consider preregistration where it is an option.
